This iconic design by Fabio Lo Jacono borrows the design of hairbrushes turning it into an eccentric bench sure not to go unnoticed. Hued in a dark black-volcano hue, the sturdy cedar seat is raised on an organized array of anthracite-gray iron legs standing for the bristles. A version with natural-finished cedar seat is available in the Artemest catalog.

Lombardia, Italy | Carpenter
Riva’s story all began in the 1920s in a small cabinetmaking workshop in Cantù, Brianza run by Nino Romano. In the ‘40s, the founder’s son-in-law, Mario Riva, joined the business and was later followed by his son Maurizio and grandson Davide, focusing their work on tailor-made collections toward the end of the ‘70s. In 1992, Riva participated in the Milano Salone del Mobile, and in 2010, it unveiled the Riva Center by Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Known for enhancing wood through natural oils and waxes, the brand is committed to sustainability and reusing materials.Discover more
