Part of the larger collection Specola, named after the historic Padua astronomical observatory, established in 1767. Light is diffused within hand-beaten and enameled copper parabolas, while the light fixtures gravitate suspended on cylindrical elements made of natural copper. Enameling is a complex technique involving subjecting an object covered with colored glass powders to a high temperature with unpredictable results. Designed in collaboration with Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto. This piece is currently on show and immediately available at Artemest Galleria New York.
