Neo was born in Rome in 2007, when Rosanna Contadini, a designer in search of new materials, discovers the neoprene thread in a hardware store, and creates soft and silky products, flexible and pleasant to the touch, in contrast with the robust appearance and the intense color of the material. Using the best quality of thread produced in Italy, Rosanna Contadini realizes refined objects for the home and bags that are crocheted, woven on a loom or simply woven and knotted by hand.

Shapes taken from nature and everyday objects, collected during travels around the world, have inspired the design of each piece, blending elegance and strength in a contemporary aesthetic. The philosophy of Neo is centered on the creation of exclusive, timeless objects destined to last and easy to maintain. Each piece is entirely made in Italy based on the skill and experience of a group of local artisans.
