Schiavon

It all began with the enthusiasm and resourcefulness of a young craftsman, Angelo Schiavon.

In 1944, at the age of thirteen, he began an apprenticeship with copper beaters and silversmiths, and became so passionate about silver and its workmanship that he decided to devote himself entirely to the manufacture of this extraordinary metal.

An eclectic and creative personality, full of will and determination-as his work colleagues well knew, who could never finish a job before or better than he did-Angelo Schiavon thus decided, in 1957, to start his own silversmith business in a small garage in the center of Treviso, near Venice.

In 1964 all of Schiavon's production was destined for the best Italian silverware factories of the time until, in 1970, distribution was entrusted to major wholesalers.

In 1975 Schiavon made the decisive turning point, deciding to reserve from that moment all of its silver factory production solely for qualified retailers and guaranteeing careful and selected distribution.

Since its beginnings, the Schiavon brand has stood out for its originality in aesthetic research, talent in workmanship and innovation in technologies; over time, the brand has been able to evolve and perfect itself, anticipating design trends with an international approach to product development, while remaining true to its identity and values.

Today Schiavon is a dynamic, well-structured company, able to adapt to changes and customer demands, rooted in the values that have made it an emblem of reliability and experience.
