Born in Salerno on May 26, 1977, Onofrio Acone embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in design and furniture in 1997. His early years in his parents' ceramic workshop ignited a profound passion for creativity. Despite its transformation into an industrial enterprise, Onofrio remained committed to crafting sculptures, vases, and paintings by hand, employing rudimentary techniques that resonate with raw emotion. Designer Andrea Incontri draws inspiration from the lives of everyday women in his latest Le Tipe Umane series. Whether walking their dogs or going shopping, young or old, each character in the series is captured in freehand sketches and later reinvented in artful embroideries, randomly named using Instagram's geolocation software. Referring to Honoré de Balzac’s Comédie Humaine, Le Tipe Umane explores female archetypes in an ode to femininity and artistry.
