After almost 10 years working in design studios, he founded an art consulting firm in 2017 and currently curates Edizione Limitata (“Limited Edition”), a collection that keeps traditional Italian craftsmanship alive with bold, functional objects perfect for modern homes. He received numerous accolades for his collaborations, notably the IF Design Award and a special mention for the prized Compasso d’Oro Award.

Signorini & Coco

In 1968, Pietro Coco began working as a sculptor and wood engraver in a small workshop near Pisa. Mario Sambuco established his eponymous brand at the end of the 1950s, following the footsteps of his father Luigi who has a deep knowledge of Deruta-style ceramics. Since the ‘80s, Mario’s sons Lucio and Luca took up the family business, creating new designs thanks to constant research and experimenting with precious finishes such as gold, silver, and platinum. Sambuco keeps alive traditional techniques by rigorously maintaining handcraftsmanship at the core of production, receiving the prestigious Primo Concorso tra Ceramisti in Deruta prize in 1991.
