Laser Mars Rug

Inspired by the beauty of the natural electromagnetic spectrum as a starting point for each design, the Tapis Rouge team looked to the 4 frequencies of light radiation and their respective wavelengths translating them into a collection of distinctive designs. The rugs are created by the atelier’s Nepalese team with the use of elementary tools, dyes are extracted from natural plants, flowers and trees. Only natural materials - wool and Chinese silk – are used, with all plastics and synthetics omitted.
