l'Opificio proposes sumptuous Kid Mohair, Silk, Linen and Cotton velvets and refined jacquard fabrics perfect for upholstering a sofa or an armchair, furnishing the headboard of a bed, softening a pouf. They are also perfect for decorating a window, creating decorative cushions or furnishing elements for the bed such as a runner or bedspread.
The innovative approach of the company, which has always been against fast use, is highlighted in the patterns of the jacquard fabric collections. Collections developed in different years, which dialogue perfectly with the new proposals, crossing fashions and styles while maintaining a refined and timeless taste, creating a common thread that is also the company's history.
A visionary reality that has been able to be, in its first 25 years of activity celebrated in 2023, a constant promoter of renewal with a skilful sensitivity for beauty, colour and quality, which has also translated into numerous collaborations with internationally renowned designers, among others: Serena Confalonieri, Lanzavecchia+Wai, Elisa Seitzinger, Bruno Tarsia, whose creations are in the Artemest proposal.

These are the cornerstones that have always defined the corporate philosophy of l'Opificio: a Turin-based family business founded by siblings Paola, Barbara and Federico Bertoldo at the end of the 1990s, which designs and produces velvets and jacquard fabrics for high-end furnishing and Home Haute Couture collections, 100% Made in Italy, respectful of man and the environment.
