Isola ametista Murano glass stool

The Isola stool or table is crafted from Murano glass. Each piece is unique, thanks to the manual workmanship and mouth-blowing by Venetian master glassmakers, making every item different from the others. In the Ametista version, it features the Pulegoso effect, with numerous bubbles, called puleghe, formed by adding sodium bicarbonate to molten glass. This technique, developed by Venini in the 1920s, makes it a one-of-a-kind, unrepeatable piece.
