Giuseppe Bucco and Flavio Cavalli founded Lineasette in 1977, focusing their research on innovating ceramic techniques and contemporary design. Their creations, pure and essential, are exclusively crafted using artisanal methods. The high-quality material they use is porcelain stoneware, handcrafted with an engobe coating to enhance the surface's depth, and fired at high temperatures (1200°C). The company site and showroom with the historical archive of artworks are located in Marostica (near Vicenza) in a building designed by architect Sergio Los, while the factory is located in the nearby Ceramic City of Nove.
Designers and Master Artisans, we are one big family! Since 1977 we have been creating porcelain stoneware artworks, producing designs that truly showcase unique Italian craftsmanship
Their workshop was born in Marostica, in the Land of Venetian Ceramics, where the ancient art that enhances the resources of the area has been practiced since the 18th century. Here is where they carefully and passionately preserve centuries-old traditions, reinterpreting them in innovative and contemporary forms. From design to realisation, they take care of every stage of the creative process with a focus on quality.
They create fine and elegant artworks using a noble ceramic material, porcelain stoneware. Fired at 1200°C, this material, becomes durable and waterproof. The matte and monochromatic coating lends a rough dotted colouring with an elegant chiaroscuro effect, gives originality and recognition to each creation.
Aware of the importance of respecting the world we live in, they are committed to combining artistic beauty with environmental sustainability. To do so, they use natural raw materials, and adopt water and production recycling to minimize waste.
