MIES ARMCHAIR BY ARCHIZOOM

Defined by rigorous geometric lines that brilliantly embody the philosophical view of the Archizoom Associati, leading group of the Italian radical movement developed in the 1960s, this armchair is a 1969 design conceived out of the idea of using a strip of para rubber or India rubber as the seat.



Forging metal is Stefano Robiglio’s great passion. Nature and the female figure are his main inspirations: fixed in iron, a material associated with stability, each piece is shaped with fire to make it flexible and dynamic, thus giving life to volumes and lines that convey a sense of movement and balance in a three-dimensional form.

VERTEBRA CHAISE LONGUE

A refined, elegant bridge between art and design, this chaise longue is a stunning sculpture deftly handcrafted of stainless steel on the base and iron on the seat, comprised of 19 slats, each carefully beaten by hand. Ascanio Basile, a Sicilian working in Campania, made his first collection of furniture for his wife in 1830. For five generations, continuing the family tradition of mastering ebony work and exquisite custom carpentry, his family has been producing luxurious interior design pieces elaborating classic design with an elegant, contemporary charm.

Inspired by the moon illuminating the Parisian nights at the Champs-Élysées, this stylish design by Brigitte Legeandre is brimming with timeless elegance. Designed in collaboration with Matteo Donghi, this stunning chaise is a new spin on an iconic form. The minimalist design has a frame handmade of solid walnut, with an ergonomic seat upholstered in rich Tuscan leather that come together for a look that is both classic and functional.



The Castelli family started making ebony pieces in Bologna at the beginning of the 20th century. Now the brand Paolo Castelli still makes custom-made furniture using an artisanal method and creates sophisticated collections distinguished by great care for details and materials thanks to the collaboration with prestigious designers and the finest Italian craftsmen.
