LDF 2019: Celebrating Italian Craftsmanship at I-MADE
During London Design Festival 2019, Artemest will be the official e-commerce partner of I-MADE, the first expo for leading Italian companies in the luxury design and manufacture sectors at the Saatchi Gallery, London’s iconic gallery for contemporary art. As a global ambassador of Italian craftsmanship, Artemest collaborates with I-MADE to celebrate Italy’s exceptional design and artistic heritage.
This year’s London Design Festival witnesses the inaugural edition of I-MADE (Italian Manufacturing, Art and Design Exhibition) in London’s iconic Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. Curated by Giulio Cappellini, illustrious Italian architect and designer, I-MADE is London’s first exhibition solely dedicated to Italian design and manufacturing.
I-MADE will showcase the design culture and heritage that Italy is known for worldwide. The exhibition will be a platform for beautiful, functional and innovative designs that have shaped the Italian manufacturing landscape and continue to influence design on a global level.
The exhibition brings together 50 exhibitors from all corners of Italy; from some of the most influential names in the world of design to emerging artisans. Each will display their works like pieces of art across 13 galleries spread over three floors of the Saatchi Gallery during the annual London Design Festival. Visit I-MADE to explore fine contemporary lighting, furniture and decorative pieces by eponymous Italian brands including Antique Mirror, Barbara Abaterusso, M2KR, San Lorenzo Argento, Sicis, Teckell and Zanetto among others. Additionally, the program will include a series of talks and workshops with esteemed Italian designers and architects spread across the four days.
As e-commerce partner Artemest will curate a reception area where visitors and professionals can explore Artemest website and Trade Program and hold a design talk on luxury Interior trends, craftsmanship & co-creation with an exceptional line-up of speakers on Saturday 21st of September at Saatchi Gallery.
Artemest Luxury Interior Trends, Craftsmanship & Co-Creation design talk will explore the increased need for customers to buy one-of-a-kind and special edition/limited edition products. Consequently, the talk will delve into the emotionality of customization, product offering and customization service and how the marketplace satisfies these growing market trends.
The talk will be moderated by Becky Sunshine, Design, Interiors and Lifestyle Editor and speakers will include, Marco Credendino, Co-Founder & CEO at Artemest, Brian Brennan, Head of Trade at Artemest, Giulia Zanetto, Marketing & Communication Manager at Zanetto Argenti, and Charu Gandhi, Director at Elicyon.
