Chalk Vase

Part of a superb series of vases boasting two different layers of decorations with two different finishes and colors, this exquisite piece was entirely handmade of ceramic. Its elongated silhouette has a round body tapering into a small mouth. While the bottom is adorned with a matte white finish that evokes chalk, hence the name, the top is splendidly coated with gold leaf on which white, orange, and red spikes add a textural and accent contrast.
