Crobos Small Polychrome Rug by Carlo Sanna

This spectacular wool rug from the Simbolica Collection is an ode to the ancient Sardinian technique named "pipiones" after the local dialect for 'grapes'. A masterful process of hand-weaving led to a stylized and geometric-style motif of crowns, obtained by blending white and yellow treads on a dark backdrop. The crows, symbolizing strength, inspired this singular design by Carlo Sanna.
