Deconstruction In Blue Tapestry

Deconstruction in Blue is a hand-tufted and embroidered tapestry that depicts the change from an organized, regular structure to an irregular and chaotic state. The artwork is a kind of maze with secret and hidden colours in shades of blue or similar colours. The longer threads keep some of the paths coloured with different shades of blue almost hidden to the eye. With this work artist Jules Vissers represents the human tendency to order our lives without ever truly controlling what happens.
