The urban theme has always been dear to the Neapolitan artist who portrays the frenzy of city life with an extremely keen eye, its frenetic rhythms that prevent people from living their lives with more placid and relaxed rhythms. For this reason, Criscuolo's figures do not have a defined face, but a physicality that invades the canvas, transmitting its frenzy thanks also to the use of dark tones.
