NDP1 Tapestry by Nathalie Du Pasquier - Post Design
Description
This striking square carpet designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier is hand knotted by Nepalese artisans who use the traditional Tibetan technique of knotting wool with cotton. Because of the handmade nature of this piece, part of a limited series of 36, each carpet is a one-of-a-kind decorative object boasting bright colors and geometric decorations whose symmetry is very modern, while at the same time being an exquisite example of expert artisanal craftsmanship. Handmade by craftsmen in Uma technique. Life's Commodities 2003 Collection.
