Memphis
Onion Fruit Centerpiece by Nathalie Du Pasquier - Memphis Milano
Description
This superb object of functional decor was created in 1985 by the ingenious pattern designer of the Memphis artistic group, Nathalie Du Pasquier. The silhouette combines round elements and straight lines entirely made of ceramic. The blue of the tall edges is adorned with a black and white external insert, while the bottom of the bowl is elegantly painted with a playful rendition of jungle patterns in yellow, pink, and black. Showcased as a centerpiece or a display surface for sculptural pieces, this fruit bowl will make a statement in a contemporary decor.
