A unique addition to a contemporary interior, this modern rug is hand-knotted in Nepal by craftsmen who have worked with Illulian since 1959. The base (.05 cm high) is in Himalayan wool, while the striking depiction of a trompe l'oeil staircase is in silk (.07 cm high), creating an optical illusion of great visual impact.
