Designed by Stefania Crippa of Studio Contromano, this striking rug features horizontal lines, enclosing rows of diamond-shaped decorative patterns in blue and light blue over a rich shade of brown. This unique, modern piece is inspired by the works of nomadic Asian tribes and was entirely hand woven using 90% New Zealand wool and 10% linen and cotton, to create a magnificent three-dimensional effect. The sizes are 170 x 240 cm or 200 x 300 cm, but customized measurements are available (please ask the concierge for details.)

Discovering the Artisan
Giberto Arrivabene
Veneto, Italy | Glassmith
Giberto Arrivabene was raised by strong female figures in Palazzo Papadopoli, Venice, surrounded by frescoes of Giambattista Tiepolo and other artists. The context in which he grew up had a great impact on his unique aesthetic sense. Love for glass and craftsmanship is at the heart of his work. Giberto creates each piece starting first with a watercolor sketch and then handing it to expert glass blowers carvers from the glass capital Murano. These true artists are entrusted with the difficult work of engraving designs of any kind.Discover more
