Tacca Black Marquina/White Michelangelo Vase by Matteo Cibic #2 - Main view

An ironic anthropomorphic shape rendered through the masterful use of prized Tuscan marbles bestows the artistic aim of Matteo Cibic to design a contemporary vase while celebrating the renowned Baroque sculptor Pietro Tacca. The flattened recipient in black Marquina marble is juxtaposed with the lateral, disk-shaped accents and the elongated, thick base fashioned of white Michelangelo marble, evoking balance and symmetry. The piece is not watertight. Please note that marbles and stones are natural materials and they can differ also if coming from the same quarry or the same block. The product shown may differ from purchased items. Every piece is unique. Vases made of various marbles cannot guarantee watertightness. It is not recommended for cut flowers unless with the use of vials for each flower or of an internal glass/plastic jar. Please read carefully the unpacking and handling instructions. Please note that the Cibic pieces with “ears” or tray handles are ornamental and not functional. Use them can cause breaks and is unsafe. Customer has to read the instruction that accompany the delivery of these pieces.
