Wabi-Sabi Metal Stones Small Jar

Intriguing and captivating, this decorative jar is finished with a metallic glaze that evokes black river pebbles. Deeply influenced by Japanese art and its poetic minimalism, in particular by the Wabi-Sabi aesthetics, its asymmetrical and imperfect shape is molded by hand using a mixture of brown refractory clay and medium grain chamotte. The distinctive glaze results from several firings at different temperatures that infuses an iridescent quality to the surface. Not suitable to contain water.
