Japanese Folklore Rug by Jaime Hayon

Japanese Folklore Rug by Jaime Hayon - Nodus

Reminiscent of Paul Klee's iconic creations, this rug is hand-knotted in Nepal with a blend of wool and Chinese silk in an eclectic combination of whimsical elements set on a white background. The use of bold colors and thick lines in the architectural motifs juxtapose the fine line work in the face and surrounding decorations of the composition. The resulting image is a vibrant composition that will enliven a modern and contemporary interior dominated by a monochromatic palette. Part of a limited edition of only 10 pieces, this exquisite rug is 200-knot per inch with 5-mm pile height.
