Raimondi Marmi and Matteo Terragni of Matlight Milano, merging over sixty years of experience in working with natural stone into a new and exceptional furniture and lighting brand where marble is the protagonist.
Presented for the first time at Maison & Objet in Paris, thebrand revolutionises the conventional concept of using marble and natural stone, creating furnishing sculptures that combine art with design, the excellence of high quality craftsmanship with the latest processing technologies to interpret natural forms in innovative,
refined and unique ways.
Sixty years of experience in working blocks of natural stone and a careful selection of the materials used formthe basis of unique pieces, where the concept of harmony and balance is developed in a reworking of natural forms that are fixed into the stone.
The Consolle Evoluzione is one of the design elements produced by Atelier Terrai that fully represents the brand's concept: it is a sculpture carved from a single block of white Carrara marble and can also be made in other types of marble, with a marked attention to detail in the workmanship. It is a superb objet d'art that doubles as a console table, elevating the aesthetics of both a modern and classic living room or entrance hall with elegance. It takes its name from the evolution of the workmanship of the piece itself, varying from
sharp and sinuous shapes on the left, to a smooth, round and seemingly melting silhouette on the right.
