Blue Clockwork Cabinet by Lanzavecchia+Wai

Part of a series of sideboards celebrating functional elements usually hidden in traditional furniture, this unique design by Lanzavecchia+Wai boasts magnified hinges and exaggerated locks that become jewels on the container. The piece is crafted of Canaletto walnut with structural elements and decorative closure of gold-finished brass (also available in glossy nickel or bronze). The internal space is illuminated with LED lights and can be upholstered in leather or finished in matte lacquers.
