Kazimir Screen Type C Geometric Pattern - Main view

Designed by Julia Dozsa, this screen with a modern twist merges the figurative art form with functionality. Drawing inspiration from the geometric paintings of Russian abstract artist Kazimir Malevich, the asymmetric screen panels are composed of a rounded wooden frame covered with a jersey fabric, half in a dark black and the other half with a red and white geometric pattern on a blue background connected by a series of two magnets covered by brass rings. Supported by a corten steel base with a natural wax coating to create a rust-like finish for a striking finishing touch. This piece is a prototype handcrafted and signed by the designer and is immediately available for order.

Del Savio 1910

Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy | Marble Designer

Editor's Picks

Marble is the key element of our production. We embrace its powerful design by using it to create unique surfaces and coverings.

DEL SAVIO 1910

Founded in 1910, through three generations of the Del Savio family, the Pordenone-based company has evolved from the initial production of "Venetian" and "Palladian" style floors, through more structured processing of marble for furniture componentsand cladding, always combining high craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technological equipment. In 2020 Del Savio started a new course of business with the artistic direction of Zanellato/Bortotto, who intervened on traditional processing with new processes and languages, hybridizing marble with other materials; the designers thus paved the way for the project, introducing concepts of lightness, color, and contamination, which made marble even more refined, textured and precious.

Del Savio 1910 presents three new special projects that tell the story of the dialogue undertaken with designers to express the unprecedented potential of marble.
