Colapesce Code Decorative Plate #1

Exuding the fresh charm of underwater world, this superb decorative plate of glazed red clay belongs to the Colapesce Collection, a series inspired by a Sicilian legend about a half-human, half-fish creature who is said to have given up his life to replace one of the columns supporting the island. The enchanting decorative motif displays a central rose of banded tulips encircled by shaded, light-blue fish tails ("code" in Italian).
