Living Objects

Artemest, in partnership with TED Milano, transforms a prestigious villa into a home-theatre with exquisite interiors, giving life to spaces and images of contemporary living

About

For Milan Design Week 2019 Artemest in partnership with TED Milano presents Living Objects: design meets the delightful soul of the theater in a historic Milanese setting. For the first time, Artemest with TED Milano fully decorate a 1930s villa with a curated selection of furniture, lighting and décor crafted by the expert Italian artisans and designers. Living Objects surprises visitors by creating spaces and images of contemporary life that become immersive experiences. Objects come to life thanks to the encounter with the theater; each object has a soul, that the performers will reveal through the poetry of their movements, infusing life into the house thanks to a series of tableaux of everyday life. Entering from the luxurious entryway, visitors will explore a spacious living room, a bedroom, a study, a dining room and a luxuriant terrace. In the basement it will be possible to access a home theater and a game room.
