Arazzi Re Brass Decorative Panel by gumdesign

Part of the 2020 DeFrames series of decorative panels, Arazzi Re is inspired by ancient tapestries and reproduces a stylized portrait of a king through strategically placed brass tiles with DeErosion finish. The surface's irregular texture is achieved using precise techniques devised by De Castelli involving a controlled erosion of metal and subsequently manually oxidizing and lacquering with a clear protective coating to enhance the brass and 3-D effect. This artistic piece is a testament to De Castelli's creativity and craftsmanship.
