Artichoke Box Sculpture

This exquisitely crafted papier-maché sculpture depicts an artichoke with small snails on the tips of its leaves. The artichoke is hand-painted with natural pigments in lifelike colors, and then lacquered giving its exterior a glossy finish. The interior is entirely covered in pure gold leaf polished resin. This piece, when reproduced, will vary slightly due too its handmade nature.
