Chamois Head Sculpture

Chamois Head Sculpture - Vincenzo Romanelli

A staple in the Swiss Alps, the chamois is a slender and delicate animal similar to a roe deer. A naturalistic version of its head was exquisitely modelled by Vincenzo Romanelli in 2016 and then cast in bronze using the lost-wax technique. The sculptor studied the animal up close in its natural mountain habitat, these studies inspired the creation of the clay model. The final result is a superb decorative piece that will enrich any decor. This sculpture is part of a limited edition of 12 pieces, each signed, numbered and dated.
