Fantasia d'Acqua Tapestry

Exhibited at the Venice Biennale, this tapestry is an extraordinary objet d'art part of the Velvet Lagoon Project. Superbly crafted and painted by hand with natural pigments and colored pastes, it is fashioned of soft silk velvet and assembled on a wooden frame. The blue shaded canvas depicts a mesmerizing scene of marine life, with seaweed and fish, enriched with murrine glass from Murano.
