Gold Brush Round Vase

Ceramic vase with a pure gold brush on a black finish base. The vase is handmade and decorated with the traditional Italian technique. Clay is hand shaped and fired at 1000 °C for 12 hours. Then the base is hand-painted in black, glazed and fired at 920 °C for 12 hours. When is cooled, artisans hand brush the pure gold dripping design and fire it at 720 °C for 12 hours to fix it forever.
