Handwoven Indaco Uccello Cushion

Made by hand by the refugees and migrants of the Coloriage workshop, this cushion features a splendid geometric motif inspired by the footprints of a sacred bird in the Malian tradition. Rendered with a blue natural pigment made from the Indigofera Tinctoria local plant, then bleached with the stencil technique using a natural cream obtained from millet trunk, the removable and zipped cover is fashioned of a cotton fabric cultivated, spun, and hand-woven in Mali, and padded with 100% kapok.
