Handwoven Nero Faraona Runner

Minutely woven in Mali and subsequently sewn and finalized by hand in Coloriage's workshop in Italy by migrants and refugees, this rimmed runner is decorated in a lively pattern that reproduces a guinea fowl's coat, a sacred animal in the Malian tradition. It is made by combining cotton fabric cultivated, spun, and woven in Mali, then decorated with a natural pigment made of earthenware and local herb decoction and Italian black cotton satin, supporting a circular economy.
