Handwoven Nero Faraona Tapestry

Made by the refugees and migrants of the Coloriage workshop, this exquisite tapestry is decorated in a lively pattern that reproduces a guinea fowl's coat, a sacred animal in the Malian tradition. It is made of cotton fabric cultivated, spun, and hand-woven in Mali, then decorated with a natural pigment made of earthenware and local herb decoction, and finally bleached with the stencil technique using a natural cream obtained from millet trunk. Completed with loops on the back.
