Lady ceramic vase

This hand-sculpted vase depicts a dramatically stylized version of a woman’s silhouette. Crafted using the naked raku technique, the surface reveals a subtle, cracked look. The asymmetric, arm-like elements give the sculpture a sense of movement and fluidity. The work was entered in the Fifth Annual National Raku Ceramics Competition in Cornaredo, Italy and displayed in Palazzo Filanda.
