Origo 2 Vase by Stefania Loschi

This singular ceramic vase handcrafted by master ceramist Gaetano Branca flaunts a cracked surface texture that pays homage to Jordan's arid landscapes. Its uneven and porous look is obtained by following the Japanese Raku technique, where the clay is fired at low temperatures and pieces can be removed for a specific aesthetic purpose when the kiln is still hot. Named after the Latin word for origin, no two vases are alike.
