Wild Boar Sculpture

Wild Boar Sculpture - Vincenzo Romanelli

Part of a series of sculpture crafted by Vincenzo Romanelli as a homage to the wilderness of his region, Tuscany, this piece was made in 2015. It depicts with vivid detail and elegant sense of movement a young wild boar as it stands in its local habitat. Vincenzo modelled the sculpture in clay and then poured molten bronze in it, according to the lost-wax casting method. The stunning texture of the piece captures in a naturalistic and elegant way the coat of the animal. This is part of a limited edition of 12 pieces, all numbered, dated, and signed.
