A pure approach to design, this refined ceramic vase with lid showcases the unique details of the slip-casting process. Handcrafted of white clay and finished with a matte charcoal gray glaze, the surface of the low cylindrical body is decorated with a subtle starburst pattern. These lines are the seams created by the slip casting molds that normally cleaned after the process, but intentionally left by designer Benjamin Hubert and transformed into unique decorative details. The round lid features a long semicircular handle.
