The Artisans

Venice Factory is a Venetian brand that was born of the creative complicity of two sisters, Martina and Eliana Gerotto, who combined their passion for decorative arts and interior decoration with local materials. Murano glass, marbled paper, and lace fabrics have been reinterpreted in the 100% Made in Venice collections. Among the various contemporary projects, two noteworthy collections stand out that result from the felicitous encounter with master glassmaker, Gianni Seguso: Reticelle and Strambotti.

Arcucci was founded in 1981, in the heart of Tuscany, via the passion and entrepreneurial design of its founder, Giuseppe Arcucci. Specializing in the production and distribution of items for the kitchen and home, the company launched an effective marketing strategy in the 90s that led to the success of the brand throughout Europe. In the year 2000, Arcucci also became "publisher" of the St. Claire brand, with glass and porcelain collections made in Europe, and in 2010 of Arcucci Home, with strictly made in Italy products.

A worldwide renowned brand of luxury interior design, Living Couture, is the prestigious creation of Gianpiero Pansitta. Following every step in the manufacturing process with exceptional care for detail, it collaborates with designers to furnish private and contract interiors alike, with its timeless sophistication and extraordinary crafting mastery.

Chiara Ravaioli is a spatial designer based in Ravenna, Italy. Recently graduated from the University of the Arts of London in 2016, she now is a curator of exhibition spaces such as the Cantine di Palazzo Rava and festivals such as the Sottotraccia, and even serves as a guest lecturer in Product Design at the University of Bologna. Specialized in material research and the latest generation of 3D-printing technologies, she creates unique, contemporary objects made of organic materials such as resin and hemp, thereby integrating industrial and agricultural processes.

An intimate and creative approach to glass unites the Micheluzzi family. Elena and Margherita Micheluzzi, daughters of renowned Venetian glass artist Massimo Micheluzzi, established their Venice-based glass manufacturing company offering homeware pieces defined by reinterpretations of glass silhouettes enriched by mesmerizing accents made using the cold-cutting technique. Carefully mouth-blown by Murano master glass artisans, each object brims with the unmistakable charm that effortlessly suits both functional and decorative purposes.

For almost one hundred years, the Enrico Pellizzoni brand has been offering Made in Italy leather and hide furniture items on the international market. Furniture, chairs, and armchairs made according to the Italian artisan tradition, combining quality and design with a mark of eco-sustainability. Enrico Pellizzoni is part of the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium and uses plant extracts in the leather tanning of all products. The brand can be found all over the world, with widespread distribution in Europe and in the US with the Pellizzoni USA brand.

Born in Muscletto di Codroipo near Udine, Friulian designer Stefano Mursia boasts thirty years of experience as a Heritage Restoration Specialist. His passion for luxury brands such as Riva and Ferrari inspired him to design exclusive pieces reminiscent of 60s glamorous boating atmospheres that stand out for their intense evocative power. His products are handcrafted using cutting-edge materials and techniques specific to the automotive and nautical sectors, paying homage to Aquarama, Florida, and California as true objects "d’affection".

Terrida was established in the seventies in Venice when founders Anna and Sergio Terrida commenced with the handcrafted production of high-quality leather goods: travel bags, suitcases, sports bags, golf bags. In 1985, the management of the family business passed onto their children, Pierluigi and Monica, who expanded the product range. Tradition now meets modern technology with luxury casual products that are timeless, made with excellent materials and are 100% Made in Italy production.

Architect and illustrator Consuelo Coti graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and continued her studies at the Faculdade de Coimbra in Portugal under the mentorship of renowned urban architect Alvaro Siza. She subsequently moved to Paris to work in interior design for Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, one of the 21st-century innovators in architecture and design. In 2016, she founded ConsueloCIllustrations, a Milan-based interior design firm specialized in home decor objects created with a mix of artisan and digital illustration techniques.

Originally established in 1967 as a woodturning workshop, A.R. Arredamenti was bought and expanded in 1986 by two master artisans working there, modernizing it and pairing up with a team of renowned designers. Boasting more than 40 years of expertise, A.R.Arredamenti creates bespoke, luxurious pieces of classical inspiration that merge tradition with innovation for an increasingly demanding clientele with renewed enthusiasm and love for woodwork.

Milanese architect and designer, Andrea Maestri offers art pieces and furniture for museums and exhibitions; his collections have been exhibited at the Triennale Museum in Milan. Eccentric objects and dreamlike spaces are characterized by meticulous attention to detail and his use of unusual materials. Each of Maestri’s works of talent and creativity is the result of intense research that seeks to merge and combine tradition and innovation.

The Chiarugi company was founded in 1952, in Florence, and specializes in the production of Pepper Mills, Salt Mills and Herb & Spice Mills. The products, which still today are made within the Florentine company, represent a perfect mix between tradition and innovation. The antique style meets modern design with the use of new technologies. The heart of Chiarugi resides in the Pepper Mill, a symbol of Italian culture on the table. A Made in Italy product that resembles a true piece of design, value, and prestige.

From Milan to Paris: Francesca Colombo was trained as a fashion designer working for the most prestigious brands in the industry. In Spain, she approached the world of decorating and interior design and decided to return to Milan, her hometown, to launch a consulting firm and her brand of plates, wallpapers and textiles. Her style is characterized by unusual color combinations, attention to detail and her search for innovation.

Deep passion for crafting white porcelain inspired the dynamic brand Le Porcellane located in the heart of Florence since its foundation in 1948. Ranging from classic to minimalist, sinuous to geometric, Le Porcellane lamps and decorative objects are minutely handcrafted by skilled artisans, infusing each piece with their own dedication and expertise. With a constant eye on the latest trends, Le Porcellane’s creations are able to add a stylish accent to refined resorts, residences, and exclusive superyachts.

Professor of Design and Architecture at ISIA in Faenza and l’Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, Sabrina Sguanci Baroni is an artisan specialized in ceramic arts. Her upbringing in the Florentine radical avant-garde art scene developed and nurtured her particular interest in new technologies, materials, and the changing anthropology of consumption. A designer for Artex from 2001 to 2015, she curated 13 editions of the “Scenari di Innovazione”, an international competition on product innovation, where she exhibited her projects at the Triennale Design Museum and the Salone del Mobile.

Bamax was founded 40 years ago in Asolo, a small town known as "The Pearl of Veneto" as it is a place of incomparable inspiration to artists and artisans. Bamax creates high-quality furniture through dedicated research of ancient wood-crafting traditions combined with new, sustainable technologies. NoBe Italia was founded in 2016 in Piacenza by Dario Cipelletti, an architect and designer, who relies on the expert hands of artisan Marco Grecchi to bring his artistic and creative vision to life. Their collaboration is the backbone of NoBe Italia, which specializes in designs that combine high-quality materials such as marble, metal, and wood. Inspired by the designs from the 1930s to 1950s, NoBe creations are distinguished by a pure aesthetic with a decisive artistic connotation that is defined by their spatial concept rather than predetermined, conventional use.

Anna, Carlo, and Elena Turati established Casamilano in 1998, building on their family’s legacy that began in 1929 with their grandfather Carlo’s artisan furniture business. In the 1960s, their father, Giuseppe Turati, named the company Tisettanta, collaborating with internationally renowned architects such as Gae Aulenti, Vico Magistretti, and Antonio Citterio. Today, Casamilanois managed by the third generation, launching the brand on the international stage with its customizable objects of functional décor distinctive for refined materials and attention to detail.

Bedding Atelier has been producing custom-made sofas and upholstered furniture for over 50 years, including for prestigious Italian shipyards; the excellence of its products is internationally recognized. A story born in the 1970s from the meeting of Mario, Massimo and Fabrizio, inventive and passionate personalities who, together with renowned architects Carlo De Carli, Andrea Branzi, Clivio Castelli, Ettore Sottsass, traced its identity. A sartorial atelier that carefully selects fabrics, leathers, materials, coordinating them into a distinctive classic and contemporary design.
