Aperture Black Shelf by Roberto Cicchinè

This floating shelf by designer Roberto Cicchinè reveals visual lightness and proportional harmony in a simple shape inspired by the movement of an opening window (aperture means openings in Italian). Crafted of black-lacquered metal, this modular shelf can be hung both vertically and horizontally, alone or in combination with others to create an entire wall unit. Perfect for adding functional and decorative surface in entryways or above desks and consoles, it is available also in white, and the interior can be enriched with a mirrored sheeting (chrome or 24-carat gold) upon request.
