Mediterraneo Mor Rug

The Mediterraneo Rug, designed by Paulina Herrera, won first prize at the 2015 DIART competition in Sardinia. The concept arose from a reflection on the relations between different cultures overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The soft yarn used created vibrant reflections causing a three dimensional effect. An array of fish represent the different civilizations living amongst each other, all depicted in the same geometric style representing a common identity. This contemporary work will enhance any room in the home.
