This geometric vase designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1994 comprises three separate pieces of mouth-blown glass: two flared, funnel-shaped pieces in blue and grey, framing a central red sphere. This piece is fashioned using opaline technique in which opal (or lattimo) glass is superimposed with layers of transparent glass to confer chromatic intensity and brightness.
