Alberta Carandente

Every object comes from a thought, an emotion. Alberta cares about connecting the objects with our senses and emotions; she plays with dimensions and with changing the point of view, giving a tactile experience thanks to an irregular material, made by 3d printing technology, which allows having a good grade of sustainability.

Objects have a relationship with us through sensoriality and the emotions they transmit. Alberta would like to leave a free reading: diversity and irregularity of functions, to encourage a personal interpretation. The designer tells through abstraction the mythologies, landscapes, and natural elements of the Neapolitan territory. The entire collection was born in total self-production with the help of 3D printers. The material used is PLA, a polymer of lactic acid, which is derived from natural biodegradable and therefore sustainable sources, mainly corn, and not from petroleum as is the case with plastic.
