Esperia Luci

Esperia Luci

Tuscany, Italy

Designer

Romano Conforti, Eugenio Cortigiano, and Mario established Esperia in 1952 in Poggibonsi, near Siena, after working in the historic glass factory SACE. The brand’s name is derived from the Ancient Greek word referring to the Italian peninsula, hinting at the brand’s roots in local craftsmanship. Collaborations with designer Angelo Brotto and artist Silvano Puccinelli enriched the collections with Murano glass and sculptural pieces. Today, Esperia is led by the second and third generations, creating artistic lamps entirely made by hand that preserve cultural traditions.
