Mingardo

Carpenteria Metallica Mingardo was founded in 1970 by Ilario Mingardo, who brought almost twenty years of experience in the metalworking sector to the workshop.

Initially, the company focused on simple carpentry work for the construction industry, but over time it began to develop increasingly complex projects, thanks to collaborations with leading architects and companies on the international scene: from its first collaborations with architect Carlo Scarpa to recent commissions for the Museo del Novecento in Milan, the Parco della Musica in Florence, and the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.

Over the years, the company has achieved high levels of professionalism with the creation of increasingly exclusive metal products, built and crafted entirely by hand by a consolidated team of specialized artisans ready to satisfy any type of custom project. The distinctive features of the metalwork are the almost obsessive attention to finishes and details, and the in-depth know-how of the materials. Today, the company is run by Daniele Mingardo, who has been working in his father Ilario's metal carpentry workshop since he was 18 years old. In 2013, at the age of just 25, 40 years after the workshop was founded, driven by his passion for his work and his desire to renew the family tradition, he founded Mingardo, a brand that produces limited editions of metal designs, also in combination with other materials. The result is a collection of exclusive objects in which attention to detail, passion for particulars, and craftsmanship are the added value.
