Ceramist

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Daniel Cavey moved to Tuscany in 2002, where he worked with landscape architect Tobias Bucher on ceramic architectural and sculptural projects in public and private gardens. The harmony of form and concept defines his artistic ethos, reflected in his approach to everything from kiln construction to glaze formulation. Acclaimed in art publications, his pieces are in the Keramikmuseum of Hohr-Grenzhausen, Germany and the Museu de Ceràmica de l'Alcora, Spain, among others. He has a BFA in Ceramics from Maryland Institute College of Art.
