Massimo Micheluzzi

Veneto, Italy - Glassmith
Massimo Micheluzzi’s glass masterpieces pay homage to Murano’s traditions through a singularly modern aesthetic. His practice, embedded in the life and history of the city of Venice, draws inspiration from the city’s iconic architecture and natural landscape. His experimental designs reflect the infinite possibilities of glass, shifting between fluid and organic shapes, iridescent and opaque surfaces, and elaborate color gradients and mosaic patterns. Micheluzzi received the Glass in Venice Award from the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere, ed Arti in Venice in 2019.

My mission is to constantly discover glass hoping that it will slowly reveal more of its secrets to me. Massimo Micheluzzi
