Elena Satta is a Milanese artist devoted to painting on porcelain for over thirty years. A journey that began as a student in her first year of high school, she spent years learning and perfecting third-fire painting techniques handed down for generations. She opened two workshops, one in the heart of Milan and the other in the peaceful Pavia countryside. Inspiration arises organically and spontaneously, in particular from the Sardinian coasts, her father’s homeland. She organizes seminars and training courses for aspiring artists.

Sergio Mechini and his wife Grazia Dei started Mechini in 1970 after several years of working for a leading lamp manufacturer. Soon their company grew, participating in prestigious trade fairs such as EUROLUCE in Milan, “Maison et Objet” in Paris, and “Light and Building” in Frankfurt. In the early 1990s, their sons Andrea and Sabrina joined the family business and expanded it to earn it a leading role in the international luxury lighting sector. South Korea, Qatar, China, California, and Florida are among the company’s major markets.

Patrizia Dalla Valle

Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Artist

Mosaic artist and sculptor Patrizia Dalla Valle has always been fascinated by Byzantine and Ravennate art. Born in Budrio, near Bologna, she lived in Ravenna - the ancient capital of the Western Roman Empire - for 30 years, during which she learned mosaic secrets from local masters before developing her own technical and artistic mark. Constant experimentation with materials and images is a pillar of her art, which she has exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the National Museum of Fine Arts in L’Avana, Cuba, and the European Parliament in Bruxelles among others over the years.

Enrica Ciurli

Puglia, Italy | Artist

Galatina-born artist Enrica Ciurli is a trained artist, studying ceramics at the Art Institute of Lecce in Apulia and painting with artist Notargiacomo Gianfranco at the Academy Of Fine Arts in Rome. Specialized studies at the “Marmara Universitesi” of Istanbul opened the doors to her participation in the Triennale exhibition, which led to multiple prizes and achievements such as the 2014 degree in Fine Arts. Also engaged in art projects for children, she counts “Did you see anybody”, “Dodomu” inspired by Hervé Tullet’s art, and “Àmati Amàti" among her many works.

Their children Marzia and Tomas joined the family business in 2004, dedicating themselves to enriching the brand with contemporary-style collections. General manager and Artistic Director, respectively, since 2015, they are creative minds behind Torremato, a sub-brand focused on experimental projects that take shape in collaboration with brilliant designers such as Enzo Berti, winner of the Compasso D’Oro prize with the Bitta Lamp.

Born and raised in Bari (Puglia, Italy), artist Fabio De Felice began his career in Milan in the early 2000s as an illustrator for fashion magazines and a textile/design consultant for fashion brands. Inspired by artists such as Martin Margiela and Michael Kirkham, in 2020 he created a series of portraits of unidentified models, focusing on small details and gestures. De Felice’s art questions what we see, elevating doubt over certainty and expressing a silent interiority seeking the meaning of existence.
